Seahawks vs. Eagles ATS Prediction
The Eagles opened as 3.5-point home favorites versus the Seahawks but with bettors hammering Seattle, the line for Sunday’s 1:00 p.m. ET matchup in Philly has dropped to 1. Is there still value in the Seahawks or are bettors better off going with the host Eagles?
Game Snapshot
273 Seattle Seahawks (+1) at 274 Philadelphia Eagles (-1); O/U 47
1:00 p.m. ET, Sunday, November 24, 2019
Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, PA
According to our NFL Public Betting Chart page, the Seahawks are drawing 67% of the betting tickets ahead of tonight’s game.
Seattle Seahawks Fantasy Spin
Alshon Jeffery (ankle) is questionable for the Eagles' Week 12 matchup against the Seahawks. Nelson Agholor (knee, questionable) and Jeffery are two of just five players with at least five games with eight or more targets and fewer than 50 receiving yards since Week 1 of last season. Carson Wentz and his WRs simply haven't managed to get on the same page for the better part of the last 15 months. Treat Agholor and Jeffery as upside WR4s if active. It'd be shocking if Jordan Matthews plays ahead of Dallas Goedert if Jeffery manages to return.
Philadelphia Eagles Fantasy Spin
Tyler Lockett (shin) wasn't listed on the Seahawks' final injury report. Lockett is the overall PPR WR6 and deserves weekly WR1 treatment regardless of the matchup. Still, it's worth noting that the Eagles have played much better since getting starting outside CBs Ronald Darby and Jalen Mills back. Overall, Darby and Mills have played just three games together this season and have largely shut down the (admittingly weak) passing games from the Bills, Bears and Patriots. Still, Lockett possesses one of the most fantasy-friendly target shares in football with top-10 rankings in both end-zone and deep-ball targets (PFF).
Seattle
The Seahawks have covered the spread in five of their last six road games and are 4-0-1 against the number in their last five games played in the month of November.
Philadelphia
The Eagles have failed to cover the spread in eight of their last 10 games played in Week 12 and are 1-4 against the number in their last five games played in November.
NFL Week 12 Prediction
Jadeveon Clowney is questionable with knee and hip injuries and coach Pete Carroll said his defensive end will be a game-time decision for Sunday. If Clowney can’t go, this Seattle defense looks pedestrian again. The Bucs hung 34 points on the Seahawks three weeks ago in Seattle and while the Eagles struggled offensively last week, Carson Wentz and Co. should have more success versus Seattle’s defense than New England’s. Plus, lost in the Eagles’ struggles offensively last week was the fact that the defense played very well. Containing Russell Wilson is always a challenge but I think the Seahawks are overvalued following their MNF victory over the 49ers two weeks ago.
