The Bucs opened as 3-point home favorites versus the Rams for tonight’s Monday Night Football matchup but the spread has climbed to Tampa -4.5. Is that too many points to hand Jared Goff and Co. or are the Bucs a good bet to cover?

Cooper Kupp caught 5-of-7 targets for 50 yards in the Rams' Week 10 win over the Seahawks. Kupp didn't reach a ceiling in a perfect on-paper matchup, but his floor remains one of the best among fantasy WR2s. It could've been a bigger fantasy day for Kupp if not for the Rams' decision to run the ball inside the red zone. The running backs combined to score all three of the offensive touchdowns. Week 11 will be a challenge for the Rams as they head to Tampa Bay to face one of the most blitz-heavy defenses likely without stud LT Andrew Whitworth. Kupp should be leaned on as a check-down option if the pressure is too much for Jared Goff.

Tampa Bay Bucs Game Notes

Tom Brady completed 28-of-39 passes for 341 yards and three touchdowns, adding another rushing score, in the Bucs' 46-23 Week 10 win over the Panthers. The box score is very kind to Brady, but his receivers bailed him out on a number of off target throws and he missed a few other open receivers for big gains. One example, Antonio brown was streaking across the middle of the field and TB12 overthrew him by five yards in the wrong direction. Still, this is the type of stat line that is always possible with Brady throwing to a wealth of playmakers. He remains a top 12 option at the position in Week 11 against the Rams.

The road team has covered in five of the previous seven meetings in this series while the underdog is 9-3-1 against the spread in the last 13 meetings. The Rams, meanwhile, are 6-1 against the number in their last seven games versus the Bucs, which includes a perfect 4-0 ATS record in their last four trips to Raymond James Stadium. The Rams have also covered the spread in four of their last five games as a road underdog and are 18-7-1 ATS in their last 26 conference games. As for the Bucs, they’re just 7-20-1 against the spread in their last 28 games as a home favorite and are 2-8-2 at the betting window in their last 12 home games.
