Cowboys vs. Lions Week 11 Prediction
Following their loss to the Vikings as a small home favorite last week, the Cowboys are favored again on Sunday but this time by a full touchdown over the Lions. Will Dallas rebound while also covering the number?

Dallas Cowboys Fantasy Spin
Amari Cooper (knee, ankle) said he was "good to go" for Week 11 against the Lions. Cooper was limited on Friday, but he has effectively been playing through his injuries for weeks. The Cowboys are likely giving him well-earned reps off at practice to save him for the stretch run. The Lions have been amongst the worst pass defenses in the NFL, making Cooper a high-ceiling WR1 this Sunday.
Detroit Lions Fantasy Spin
Lions coach Matt Patricia confirmed Matthew Stafford (back) won't play Week 11 against the Cowboys. It will be his second straight absence. Stafford remains week to week with fractured vertebrae in his back. Jeff Driskel will be under center for his seventh career start Sunday against Dallas. He's a capable backup and significantly more mobile than Stafford, though his presence is still a downgrade for all Detroit pass-catchers.
NFL Betting Trends
Dallas
The Cowboys are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games played in the month of November.
Detroit
The Lions are 2-5 against the spread in their last seven home games and are 1-4 ATS in their last five games coming off a loss.
Prediction
Driskel had his moments a week ago in Chicago but was largely playing sandlot ball. While the Bears certainly have a solid defense, the Cowboys have a ton of speed in their front seven and I don’t believe Driskel will see the same running opportunities that he had a week ago in Chicago. Dak Prescott, who played very well in the team’s loss last week, should rip apart a Detroit secondary that has had its issues over the past few weeks. I like the Cowboys to rebound and cover.
