Seattle Seahawks Fantasy Spin
Seahawks WR Josh Gordon will be a game-time decision for Week 10 against the 49ers. Gordon was left off the injury report but that doesn't guarantee him a spot in the starting lineup. When asked about Gordon's availability, coach Pete Carroll said, "There’s a good chance" he'll play, but he's taking a "wait-and-see" approach since Gordon is new to the offense. With Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf both playing well, Gordon isn't expected to see many targets in the next couple of weeks. It's best to keep Gordon on the bench in season-long leagues with so much up in the air right now.
San Francisco 49ers Fantasy Spin
George Kittle (knee) is officially doubtful for Week 10 against the Seahawks. The 49ers will use a combination of Ross Dwelley and Levine Toilolo to pick for the lost receiving production and blocking from Kittle, and Kittle owners will have to find a tight end streamer like Jonnu Smith this week. The stud tight end should be considered week to week after missing this week's practices.
NFL Betting Trends
Seattle
The over is 8-2 in the Seahawks’ last 10 road games when facing a team with a winning home record.
San Francisco
The over is 4-1 in the 49ers’ last five games after accumulating more than 350 total yards in their previous contest.
Prediction
The over is 5-2 in the last seven meetings between these two teams and given how poorly the Seahawks have played defensively of late, the over should cash again tonight. Seattle gave up 34 points at home last week to Tampa Bay and even without Kittle, the Niners should be able to get into the high-20s tonight. In fact, the over is 8-3 in the 49ers’ last 11 games when facing a team with a winning record and has also cashed in four of their last five NFC West matchups. The over is also 10-3 in the Seahawks’ last 13 conference games and is 6-2 in their last eight road games. Despite San Francisco possessing an outstanding defense, Russell Wilson should be able to move the ball like rookie Kyler Murray did a week ago versus the Niners in Arizona.
