Miami Dolphins DFS Spin
Dolphins offensive coordinator Chan Gailey said Tua Tagovailoa needs more live action reps. The rookie struggled mightily in his first career start, completing 12 of 22 passes for 93 yards and a touchdown against the Rams. He received the second lowest Week 8 passing grade from Pro Football Focus. Gailey said Sunday's experience was "invaluable" for Tua, stressing that he would require more reps to improve his timing. Week 9 will see Tua go against the Cardinals' top-10 pass defense -- one that has allowed the seventh lowest completion rate to opposing passers. Gailey said the playbook would expand in Tua's coming starts, including more run-pass option play calls. Unlike Week 8, Miami won't be able to hide their inexperienced quarterback thanks to a big lead. Fantasy managers should avoid the rookie in all but the deepest superflex formats.
Arizona Cardinals DFS Spin
Kyler Murray completed 34-of-48 passes for 360 yards with three touchdowns and an interception and rushed for 67 yards and a touchdown in the Cardinals' Week 7 overtime win against Seattle.
Murray rebounded after completing 38% of his passes in a win against Dallas last week. He led the Cardinals to a game-tying field goal late in regulation and the game winner in overtime. Murray was also Arizona's leading rusher with Kenyan Drake (ankle) leaving in the fourth quarter. It's a signature win for Murray and the Cardinals. Arizona is now one game back from Seattle in the NFC West.
Dolphins vs. Cardinals Betting Prediction
The over is 4-0 in the last four meetings between these two teams and has cashed in four of the Dolphins’ last five games after allowing more than 250 yards passing in their previous contest. The over is also 4-0 in the Cardinals’ last four games played in November and they’re facing an opponent in Miami that was on the field a massive amount of defensive plays last week in its win over the Rams. By the time the fourth quarter starts, Kyler Murray and Co. should be able to rack up plenty of points against a tired Dolphins defense.
