Indianapolis Colts Fantasy Spin
T.Y. Hilton (calf) was downgraded to "DNP" on Thursday. It's a concerning development for Hilton. He was listed as "limited" on Wednesday's injury report, but the issue was not believed to be serious. It's now a real concern for his Week 9 availability. There is still a legitimate chance that Hilton ends up suiting up, but fantasy players need to start making back-up plans. If Hilton does play, it will be for a tough matchup with the Steelers.
Pittsburgh Steelers Fantasy Spin
James Conner (shoulder) remained sidelined at Thursday's practice. Benny Snell (knee) was also a spectator Thursday. Neither are trending in the right direction for Week 9, though Friday's final injury report should provide us more clarity. Jaylen Samuels, who is due back from a month-long knee injury, would be in line for a near every-down role if Conner misses Sunday's home matchup with Indianapolis.
Indianapolis
The over is 4-1 in the Titans’ last five games after allowing more than 250 yards passing in their previous game.
Pittsburgh
The over is 21-8-1 in the Panthers’ last 30 games after scoring less than 15 points in their previous game.
NFL Week 9 Prediction
These two teams tend to be run-first, especially the Steelers now that Mason Rudolph is back in the starting lineup. The Colts are also healthy defensively, so the under is the play here for me. In fact, the under is 4-1 in the Steelers’ last five games overall and is 41-20-1 in their last 62 conference games. On the other side, the under is 7-1 in the Colts’ last eight games played in November, is 4-1 in their last five road games and is 9-4 in their last 13 conference matchups.
NFL WEEK 9 PREDICTION: COLTS/STEELERS UNDER 41.5
