Bengals vs. Rams Total Prediction
The Bengals and Rams are the next teams to meet in London, as the teams will play at Wembley Stadium at 1:00 p.m. ET. With massive injury issues facing Cincinnati’s cornerbacks, will Los Angeles post enough points to help push the score over the total?
Game Snapshot
263 Cincinnati Bengals (+12.5) at 264 Los Angeles Rams (-12.5); O/U 47.5
1:00 p.m. ET, Sunday, October 27, 2019
Wembley Stadium, London
Public Betting Trends
According to our NFL Football Public Betting Chart page, the Rams are receiving 73% of the betting tickets from online sportsbooks.
Cincinnati Bengals Fantasy Spin
Bengals CB Darqueze Dennard (hamstring) is expected to miss Week 8 against the Rams. Coming off a knee injury, Dennard just made his 2019 debut on Week 7. He proceeded to get flamed by Dede Westbrook. William Jackson is returning for the Bengals, but Dennard will be joining Dre Kirkpatrick on the shelf. It's an all-systems-go spot for the Rams.
Los Angeles Rams Fantasy Spin
Todd Gurley played just 46-of-75 snaps (60.5%) in the Week 7 win over the Falcons. That 60.5% snap share was Gurley's lowest mark of the season. The blowout may have played a factor. Gurley missed Week 6 with a quad injury after being in on a season-high 93% of the downs in Week 5. Darrell Henderson was in on 34.2% of the snaps against the Falcons, getting 12 touches to Gurley's 19. Gurley, of course, found the end zone and will remain an RB2 in a high-end Rams offense. Henderson, though, is someone to obviously own again in redraft formats, especially if he's able to leapfrog Malcolm Brown, who missed Week 8.
NFL Betting Trends
Cincinnati
The under is 5-0 in the Bengals’ last five games after allowing more than 150 rushing in their previous game.
Los Angeles
The over is 5-1 in the Rams’ last six games after scoring more than 30 points in their previous game.
Prediction
The Bengals’ defense is a disaster. They rank 31st in the NFL in yards per play allowed (6.4), are 29th in pass defense and are dealing with major injury issues at the cornerback position. Dre Kirkpatrick (knee) and Darqueze Dennard (hamstring) are both out for Sunday while William Jackson (shoulder) will return but he won’t be enough to slow down L.A.’s passing attack. Jared Goff has struggled all season, but Cooper Kupp, Brandin Cooks and Robert Woods should feast anyway. I do have concerns that the Bengals won’t score enough to push the score over, but the Rams could score 40 on their own.
