Jaguars vs. Bengals Week 7 Prediction
Will Sunday mark the first time in 2019 that the Bengals earn a win? They’ll host the Jaguars at 1:00 p.m. ET in Week 7 and are currently a 4.5-point home underdog. Bettors are backing the Jags but is there value in the home dog?

Jacksonville Jaguars Fantasy Spin
Dede Westbrook (shoulder) is officially questionable for Week 7 against the Bengals. Westbrook popped up on the injury report mid-week, and he's shaping up as a game-time decision after getting in a limited practice on Friday. If he's active, Westbrook has a great matchup against an already bad Bengals defense that is missing multiple starters including two corners. Westbrook has been Gardner Minshew's No. 2 target behind D.J. Chark this season. Marqise Lee has been ruled out.
Cincinnati Bengals Fantasy Spin
Bengals suspended LT Corey Glenn one game for disciplinary reasons. Glenn had already been fined $200,000 for conduct detrimental to the team following an outburst Wednesday that reportedly culminated in the veteran asking for his release. Apparently Glenn has been at odds with the Bengals over the handling of his concussion. With all the bad blood that's been spilled, the two sides appear headed for a messy divorce. John Jerry will spell Glenn at left tackle Sunday versus Jacksonville.
NFL Betting Trends
Jacksonville
The Jaguars are 1-3-2 against the spread in their last six games versus the Bengals and are just 5-11-2 at the betting window in their last 18 games overall.
Cincinnati
The Bengals have covered in seven of their last 10 games overall and are 6-1 against the number in their last seven games versus conference foes.
Prediction
This should be a huge game for Jaguars’ running back Leonard Fournette. That’s because Cincinnati linebackers Nick Vigil and Preston Brown have struggled all season in run defense. The Bengals rank near the bottom of Football Outsiders’ run defense DVOA, which spells trouble for Sunday’s matchup with a Jaguars team that wants to run the ball early and often with Fournette. While there’s always some value in the home dog, I just can’t back a bad Bengals team that doesn’t have much going for it at the moment.
