Houston Texans Fantasy Spin

Deshaun Watson completed 30-of-42 passes for 280 yards, one touchdown and two picks, piling on an additional 42 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries in Houston's Week 6 win over the Chiefs. It was an heroic effort from Watson, who was handed the ball up 7 on 4th-and-3 in the final two minutes and beat a zero-blitz over the middle to DeAndre Hopkins (9/55) for the eight-yard game-clinching catch. Watson wasn't without his flaws on the day, tossing two clumsy picks into double/triple coverage, but his receivers didn't help out as Will Fuller (5/44) and Hopkins totaled four dropped touchdowns. The designed runs, one of which resulted in the go-ahead one-yard score in the fourth quarter, were an added bonus. He's been a matchup-proof QB1 through six games and that won't change in Week 7 against the Colts.

Darius Leonard admitted to questioning his playing future after missing three weeks with a concussion. Leonard suffered a crippling headache for two-plus weeks after being concussed Week 2 against the Titans, citing a collision with Derrick Henry as the likely event that left him with the brain injury. During his time away from the team, Leonard debated his NFL future. "That’s when I really started thinking, ‘Wait a minute. Now I have a wife and kid," Leonard recalls. "I’ve had a headache for three weeks. Will I ever be the same? Do I keep playing? You have those thoughts in the back of your head." Leonard obviously is returning and has cleared the league's protocol, but it was a scary enough situation that who knows what will happen if/when he suffers another one. NFL players have certainly become more mindful of their long-term futures in recent years.
