Philadelphia Eagles Fantasy Spin
Coach Doug Pederson said DeSean Jackson (abdomen) is still rehabbing but "getting close" to returning. Pederson added that Jackson's dealing with a strain but won't require sports hernia surgery. Carson Wentz has sorely missed the speedy 32-year-old the past four weeks as the Eagles have struck on only 4-of-16 attempts 20-plus yards downfield for a measly 137 yards and two picks in that span. It truly sounds like Jackson's 50/50 at this time to suit up for Week 6 against the Vikings.
Minnesota Vikings Fantasy Spin
Kirk Cousins completed 22-of-27 passes for 306 yards and two touchdowns in the Vikings' Week 5 win over the Giants. This was Cousins first game with at least 300 passing yards since Week 11 of last season. He had been in a massive drought, but the Giants' secondary is a well that will keep on giving. After having to apologize to Adam Thielen for his poor play, the duo linked up for two touchdowns and 130 yards. They were clearly on the same page, though the same can't be said for Stefon Diggs, who only had four targets. Next week is another fantasy-friendly matchup with the Eagles coming to town, but Cousins has had too many clunkers to be viewed as more than a bye-week streamer.
