Cleveland Browns Fantasy Spin

Jarvis Landry has cleared the concussion protocol. Landry is expected to resume practicing Friday and should occupy his usual role as Cleveland's primary slot receiver Monday night in San Francisco. While Landry has yet to score a touchdown this season, he's coming off a huge performance in Week 4 (8-167-0 on 10 targets) and should be employable as a WR3 in all formats.

San Francisco 49ers Fantasy Spin

49ers placed WR Jalen Hurd on injured reserve with a broken back. Hurd has been battling a stress fracture in his back since midway through the preseason. The 49ers obviously though he would avoid injured reserve when they kept him on their Week 1 roster, but he's not making the progress the team had hoped for. An "offensive weapon" type, Hurd is not the kind of rookie who could afford to lose so much practice and development time. He'll likely be too raw to be a realistic candidate for return when first eligible in Week 13.

Prediction

The Browns are 4-0 against the spread in their last four road games and after finding their running game a week ago in Baltimore, I like the value in the underdog tonight. The 49ers could have easily lost to the Steelers two weeks ago before their bye and they still have plenty of issues defensively. I don’t know why the line is as high as it is tonight but we’ve got value in Cleveland.
