Colts vs. Texans Spread Prediction
The Houston Texans are one of only three teams that remain winless in the NFL. Will Deshaun Watson and Co. get into the win column on Sunday by beating the Indianapolis Colts at 1:00 p.m. ET?

Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetNow.eu, the Colts are 1-point favorites to beat the Texans. The total, meanwhile, sits at 47.5 points. As of this writing, 57% of the public betting tickets are on the Colts to cover the point spread.
Houston Texans
DeAndre Hopkins (ankle, hamstring, thumb) is questionable for Week 4 against the Colts. Hopkins has seen his practice reps rationed while battling a variety of injuries, though we anticipate him seeing his usual workload Sunday at Indianapolis. Nuk has been his usual, dominant self this year, averaging an impressive 91.3 yards per game including 86 last week in a loss to New York. He'll be a WR1 against Indy.
Indianapolis Colts
Colts placed RT Joe Haeg (ankle) on injured reserve. The hope is that Haeg is able to return in November once his high-ankle sprain heals. Starting LT Anthony Castonzo (hamstring) is still considered 'week to week', too. Indy's offensive line has been an absolute mess this season as Haeg was actually the replacement for RT J'Marcus Webb, who was already lost for the year. J.J. Watt and Co. could have a field day rushing Andrew Luck in Week 4.
NFL Betting Trends
Houston
The Texans are 2-5-1 against the spread in their last eight road games against the Colts and are 2-7-2 against the number in their last 11 contests versus Indy overall.
Indianapolis
The Colts have covered the spread in four of their last five games overall.
Prediction
Despite the Colts’ injuries along the offensive line and despite the Texans’ desperation to get into the win column, I don’t trust Houston. They’re racking up plenty of yards (eighth in the league, in fact) per game but they’ve been dreadful when it comes to scoring (22nd). Until they figure out how to reach pay dirt consistently, I’m not going to back the Texans. They’ve burned bettors for three straight weeks and they could do so again today, as the Colts have a revamped defense that has played well and is forcing turnovers.
