Ravens vs. Steelers Total Prediction
The Sunday Night Football matchup this weekend will be a clash of AFC North rivals as the Baltimore Ravens visit the Pittsburgh Steelers at 8:20 p.m. ET. Is the betting total set too high for this matchup with the number sitting in the low 50s?
Game Snapshot

8:20 p.m. ET, Sunday, September 30
Heinz Field, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetNow.eu, the Steelers are 3-point favorites to beat the Ravens. The total, meanwhile, sits at 51 points. As of this writing, 54% of the public betting tickets are on the Ravens to cover the point spread.
Baltimore Ravens Fantasy News & Notes
Ravens TE Hayden Hurst (foot) remained limited at Thursday's practice. Hurst is hoping to make his NFL debut Sunday night against Pittsburgh after sitting out the first three games with a stress fracture in his foot. In his absence, the Ravens have used a committee approach at tight end, allotting snaps to Maxx Williams, Nick Boyle and third-round rookie Mark Andrews.
Pittsburgh Steelers Fantasy News & Notes
JuJu Smith-Schuster (abdomen) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. Smith-Schuster got the day off on Wednesday coming off the Monday night game. His participation on Thursday, albeit in a limited capacity, suggests he'll be fine for Sunday night's tilt with Baltimore. One of only two players in the league (the other being Minnesota's Adam Thielen) to top 100 yards receiving in each of his first three games, JuJu will be in the WR1 mix for that one.
NFL Betting Trends
Baltimore
The over is 6-2 in the Ravens’ last eight road games.
Pittsburgh
The over is 5-0 in the Steelers’ last five games overall and 7-1 in their last eight home games.
Prediction
Remember when a Baltimore-Pittsburgh matchup used to be guaranteed to finish in the low 40s in terms of the combined score? This total is sitting in the 50s. While the Steelers have a ton of defensive problems, I still don’t see these two teams combining for enough points to push the score over the total. The Steelers are playing on short rest, have a kicker that has started the year horrible, and didn’t score a point in the second half on Monday night in Tampa despite facing the banged-up Bucs defense. With both teams potentially trying to set up the run and keep the clock moving, I see value in the under.
NFL Week 4 Prediction: Ravens/Steelers under 51
