After beating the Patriots outright as an underdog last Thursday night, the Chiefs are now 6-2 against the spread in their last eight games overall. That said, they're just 3-9 against the number in their last 12 home games and have failed to cover in 10 of their last 14 games after covering the spread the previous week.

OUR PREDICTION: Alex Smith isn't going to finish the season with a 86.3 QBR, but there's also no guarantee that he'll revert back to the same dink-and-dunk signal-caller he was before he ripped New England to shreds last week. I'm banking on us seeing a combination of the new Smith and the one that "manages" games and avoids turnovers. These two teams mirror each other since Doug Pederson is a disciple of Andy Reid. Thus, I'll take the more talented team in Kansas City, even though I expect Philadelphia to give the Chiefs fits until the end.
