Steelers vs. Giants MNF Prediction
After missing virtually all of last season with an arm injury, Ben Rothelisberger returns to play on Monday night when his Steelers visit the Giants at 7:10 p.m. ET. Can Big Ben shake off the rust in time to lead Pittsburgh to a win tonight in East Rutherford?
Game Snapshot
479 Pittsburgh Steelers (-6) at 480 New York Giants (+8); o/u 45

Game 1, NFL Regular Season
Pittsburgh Steelers DFS Spin
Steelers WR Diontae Johnson (foot) practiced in full Friday. Pittsburgh beat writers said this week the team was being careful with its explosive second-year receiver. Johnson should be a full go for Monday night's game against the Giants after Friday's full practice. Pittsburgh has the sixth highest implied total of the week (26 points) and takes on a beatable New York secondary. Fantasy players should five serious consideration to flexing Johnson as an upside play.
New York Giants DFS Spin
Golden Tate (hamstring) is officially questionable for Week 1 against the Steelers. Tate was limited in practices this week and will likely test his gimpy leg in pre-game warmups before deciding if he should play. Already in a very tough matchup against the Steelers, Tate is someone to bench for the season opener. Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton would get slight bumps up in projections if Tate sits.
Steelers vs. Giants Betting Prediction
It might take a quarter or two for Big Ben to shake off the rust but once he settles in, the Steelers’ talent should take over. James Conner should be the focal point of Pittsburgh’s offense anyway, as New York’s defense was porous against the run last season. Meanwhile, Giants quarterback Daniel Jones will likely be under duress the entire night, with T.J. Watt and that Steelers’ front four bringing the heat. The Steelers’ pass rush will be too much for the Giants’ pass protection and eventually Jones will make a mistake or three. I’m laying the points with the road fave.
