Packers vs. Redskins Preseason Pick
Will the Redskins cover the spread versus the Packers tonight when the teams meet at 7:30PM ET in NFL preseason action?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Redskins are 3.5-point home favorites versus the Packers while the over/under sits at 39 points. While the point spread hasn't budged off that 3.5-point figure, the total has dropped from 40.5 down to 39.

GREEN BAY PACKERS: Running back Ty Montgomery is expected to miss tonight's preseason game. The second-year player is reportedly working through a lower leg injury that has sidelined him the last two days. Jamaal Williams received most of Montgomery's practice reps and should start tonight in Washington.
WASHINGTON REDSKINS: Jamison Crowder continues to draw praise in camp for the Redskins. The Washington Post considers him the No. 2 option behind Jordan Reed in the Redskins' passing game. Josh Doctson, meanwhile, is on pace to play tonight despite working through a hamstring injury. Doctson, Crowder, Reed and Terrelle Pryor comprise a solid group of passing options for Kirk Cousins.

OUR PREDICTION: Jay Gruden is Mr. Preseason. In his first three seasons with the Redskins, his teams went a combined 9-3 in exhibition play, posting a winning record in each of those three years. The Redskins are 0-1 to start preseason play this year but clearly Gruden is one of those coaches that values preseason play more than most. Granted, Green Bay's Mike McCarthy is also 24-20 in preseason play, but I'll side with the home team tonight.
