Bills Season Win Prediction
Will the Buffalo Bills struggle to win at least seven games in 2017? Here's a look at their season projections.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Bills have an over/under of 6.5 for number of wins in 2017. They're also 200/1 to win the Super Bowl, are a 100/1 long shot to win the AFC Conference Championship, and are 15/1 to win the AFC East Division this upcoming NFL season.
The Bills were active this offseason, including recently when they traded Sammy Watkins to the Rams in exchange for multiple draft picks and cornerback E.J. Gaines. They also signed safety Micah Hyde (Packers) to a five-year, $30.5 million contract and added former Browns safety Jordan Poyer for four years and $13 million. Steven Hauschka is their new kicker and Patrick DiMarco is their new fullback. Recently, the Bills also added veteran receiver Anquan Boldin to help fill the void crated in the Watkins trade.
Meanwhile, Buffalo had three selections in the first 63 picks of April's NFL draft. They took LSU cornerback Tre'Davious White in the first round and then came back in the second with the selections of East Carolina receiver Zay Jones and Temple guard Dion Dawkins.

OUR PREDICTION: I would have classified the Bills offense as underrated before the trade of Watkins, and maybe they still are flying under the radar to some degree. But the schedule is brutal this season, as the Bills will play the NFC South and AFC West, plus a road game against the Bengals. The run defense was porous last season and the linebacker and safety positions are question marks as well. I think this is a semi-talented team, but that doesn't mean they won't struggle to win 5-6 games in 2017.
