Line History: The Panthers opened as either a 3.5 or 4-point favorite depending on which sports book you viewed. The quarterback position has won by far the most Super Bowl MVP awards with 27, while running back has claimed seven MVP trophies and receiver has claimed six. Linebacker has the most MVP awards on defense at three, while defensive end and safety have won two MVP trophies apiece. Cornerback, defensive tackle and kick returner have won one, respectively.
