According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Newton is currently favored at -125 to win the Super Bowl 50 MVP award. Peyton Manning has the next best odds at +290, while Luke Kuechly and Von Miller are both 12/1, respectively.

Continuing with the odds, Jonathan Stewart and Ted Ginn Jr. are 16/1, respectively to win the Super Bowl 50 MVP award while C.J. Anderson is 18/1. Demaryius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders and Greg Olsen are all 25/1, respectively, while Josh Norman, Aqib Talib and DeMarcus Ware are all 33/1, respectively.

Some of the mid-range long shots to win the award are Brandon McManus at 50/1, Owen Daniels, Ronnie Hillman and Graham Gano at 66/1, respectively, and Corey Brown and Chris Harris Jr. at 75/1, respectively. Danny Trevathan, Darian Stewart, Brandon Marshall, Derek Wolfe, Devin Funchess and Kurt Coleman are all 100/1, respectively. Mike Tolbert has the longest odds on the board at 150/1.

The quarterback position has won the Super Bowl MVP award 27 times, which is the most of any position. Running back has claimed the award the second-most times at seven, while wide receiver has won six times. Linebacker has won three times, defensive end and safety have won twice, respectively, while cornerback, defensive tackle and kick returner/punt returner have all won once apiece.

Terrell Davis is the last running back to win the Super Bowl MVP when he claimed the honors in 1998, but perhaps Stewart at 16/1 and Anderson at 18/1 will end that drought. They seemingly offer the most value of any of the players on the board.
