Before we make a prediction for Robinson in relation to Super Bowl 54, let’s first go back to what he’s done for the Chiefs over the past month or so. The former Florida Gator caught both of his targets for 31 yards in the Chiefs’ win over the Titans in the AFC Championship Game but pulled in just one catch versus the Texans in the Divisional round the week prior. To round out the regular season, he caught a 24-yard touchdown pass versus the Chargers in Week 17 and that was his first TD since Week 3. That was his only catch in that game after being targeted just twice.

Going back to Week 14 of the regular season, Robinson was targeted at least twice in every game over a four-week span but was never targeted more than three times. In all four games, he caught at least one pass but never more than two (Week 15 versus the Broncos, the same game he was targeted three times).

Thus, Robinson’s reception prop number is spot on at 1.5, although there is some value in taking the under at +110 odds. When teammate Tyreek Hill was injured earlier this season, Robinson did make somewhat of an impact but he’s been virtually non-existent ever since. He was actually targeted four times in that win over Houston in the Divisional round and could only pull in one of those targets while he dropped the other three passes that were thrown in his direction.

While the 31 yards he totaled versus the Titans in the AFC Championship Game was his highest mark since Week 10, it’s still a strong play to take the under on both of Robinson’s bigger prop bets in the Super Bowl.

Demarcus Robinson Super Bowl 54 Prop Bets: UNDER 1.5 Receptions (+110) & UNDER 22.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
