According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetNow.eu, the Patriots are 2.5-point favorites to beat the Rams. The total, meanwhile, sits at 56.5 points. As of this writing, 78% of the public betting tickets are on the Patriots to cover the point spread.

Gurley was once again an integral part of Sean McVay’s offense, rushing 256 times for 1,251 yards with 17 touchdowns. He also saw 81 targets in the passing game, catching 59 passes for 580 yards and an additional four scores. While a knee injury kept him out of the team’s final two regular-season games, Gurley returned to action in the Divisional round, rushing 16 times for 115 yards and one touchdown. He was held to just four carries for 10 yards and a touchdown against the Saints, however, leading many to believe that the knee is still bothering him.

Gurley said his performance during the NFC title game was “sorry” and that’s why C.J. Anderson wound up playing the bulk of the snaps against the Saints. Nobody is buying it, however, and chances are Gurley is dealing with a more serious injury than he and the Rams are letting on. That’s why I’m taking the under in rush attempts, rushing yards, receptions and receiving yards. Chances are he’ll be on a pitch count, used only in key situations when the Rams need a potential big play. If I’m wrong, he’ll blow these figures out of the water. If I’m right, these will be some of the easier prop bets to cash on Super Bowl Sunday.
