Thomas Rawls exploded for 161 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks' Wildcard win over the Lions on Saturday night. Rawls averaged 1.5 yards-per-carry average over the final three games of the regular season but he was the catalyst for a Seattle offense that has struggled at times this season. The second-year player became the first player since Marshawn Lynch in 2014 to record over 150 yards rushing in a playoff game.

Despite the win over Detroit, public bettors are backing Atlanta early. Our NFL Public Betting Page shows that 75% of public bettors are currently taking the Falcons and laying the four points. Of course, a lot can happen in a week, but with that much public money on Atlanta oddsmakers may have to adjust the line over the next couple of days.

The Seahawks beat the Falcons 26-24 in mid-October this year, but failed to cover as a 7-point favorite. In that game, Matt Ryan completed 27-of-42 passes for 335 yards with three touchdowns and one interception, which was a bad drop by Julio Jones that tipped off his hands and right to free safety Earl Thomas.

In that game, Atlanta trailed 17-3 at halftime but scored 21 points in the third quarter before wilting in the final minutes. Richard Sherman got away with holding Jones' arm on a deep pass in the final minute that would have set the Falcons up in field goal range for a potential game-winning field goal.
