SEA vs. MIN spread already climbing
The NFL is five days away from kicking off its 2016 playoffs but the spread in Sunday's Seahawks-Vikings Wild Card matchup has already climbed a full point.

Seattle opened as a 4.5-point road favorite for its matchup in Minnesota on Sunday afternoon but according to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Seahawks are now 5.5-point favorites. The total has also moved slightly, going from 42 points down to 41.5.
Of the four Wild Card games this weekend, the Seahawks are receiving the most backing from public bettors at 75%. There's a chance that oddsmakers adjusted the line due to the heavy backing of Seattle, but books had to figure that the public would be siding with the Seahawks when they released the line. (Bettors are well aware of Seattle's postseason success the past three seasons, as well as the Seahawks' 38-7 rout over the Vikings in Minnesota just last month.)
Thus, there's a possibility that oddsmakers had to adjust the line for Sunday's game after not only receiving plenty of public money on Seattle, but sharp play as well. It'll be interesting to see if there's some buy back on the Vikings throughout the week, and if oddsmakers decide to adjust the line again.
