CC Sabathia was pounded in the loss as he allowed seven runs (six earned) on six hits with two strikeouts and two walks over four innings. D.J. LeMahieu helped lead the Yankees offense as he finished 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, a walk and two RBIs. Gio Urshela went 2-for-4 with a solo homer and a double. Luke Voit ended the contest 1-for-4 with a solo home run. Taylor Rogers allowed two hits with one strikeout and no walks in a scoreless ninth to get the save. MLB Betting Trends

New York

The Yankees are 23-10 in their last 33 Tuesday games. New York is 7-2 in the last nine German road starts.

Minnesota

The Twins are 7-3 in their last 10 Tuesday games. Minnesota is 4-1 in the last five Gibson starts.

Prediction:

Gibson had a rough patch where his mechanics were off, but looked a little better in his last start. German has been awesome all season when healthy. After a scoring fest last night, I think both pitchers settle in and do a good enough job today to keep the score low. While I lean towards New York if I were to pick a side, I'm instead taking a look at the under as the bats should cool down in this one.
