ORLANDO, FL (TheSpread) – The opening round of the 2011 PGA Arnold Palmer Invitational is complete and Spencer Levin has emerged with a three-shot lead.

Levin scored a 6-under 66 in the opening round to take a three shot lead over Rickie Fowler and Hunter Mahan. Levin went without a bogey in the round.

Levin and Mahan are now the favorites to win according to online sportsbook Bodog.com as each has 8/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Phil Mickelson (9/1), Fowler, and Tiger Woods.

Fowler and Mahan both shot a 3-under 69 in their opening rounds and they are one shot ahead of a group of 11 golfers that are sitting at 2-under, including Mickelson.

Woods, who was the pre-event favorite to win, shot a 1-over 73 in his first round to finish tied for 31^st. Woods had four bogies and three birdies in the round.
