The Iowa Hawkeyes have shown some life after a disastrous start to the season in Big Ten play. They have gone 3-3 in their last six games overall. They went on the road and beat Illinois by 7, while also rushing both Wisconsin (by 18) and Minnesota (by 14) at home.
I think Penn State is a big overvalued right now after going 2-1 SU & 3-0 ATS in its last three games overall. The Nittany Lions upset Ohio State on the road, beat Rutgers by 17 at home and then hung with Michigan State in a 68-76 road loss as 14.5-point underdogs.
I think after playing two huge games in their last three against Ohio State and Michigan State, this is clearly a flat spot for the Nittany Lions. I also like the fact that Iowa has an extra day to prepare for this game than Penn State does. The Hawkeyes last played on Tuesday while the Nittany Lions played on Wednesday.
Penn State would have to win by double-digits Saturday to cover this 9-point spread. Well, it’s been a heck of a long time since the Nittany Lions beat the Hawkeyes by 10 or more. They haven’t won any of the last 11 meetings by double-digits with the last instance coming back in 2011.
Penn State is 0-6 ATS as a home favorite of 6.5 to 9 points over the last three seasons. Iowa will be out for revenge from a 77-73 home loss to the Nittany Lions earlier this season. Plays on road underdogs of 3.5 to 9.5 points (Iowa) - revenging a same season loss, after a home game where both teams scored 75 points or more are 70-34 (67.3%) ATS over the last five seasons. Akron is worth a look here in this spot. In their first meeting Toledo was favored by 8.5 and only won by 2. Based on that line Toledo should only be favored by 2 at the very most. Since this is a rivalry game I like the home team. Also in the first meeting Akron only shot a whopping 4 free throws you know that will for sure change, while Toledo shot 22. That is about a big of gap as you will find in a game.

This play just missed out on our premium card. The Oregon Ducks and the Stanford Cardinal face off Saturday, and in this game the underdogs have the value.
This a must win game for the Ducks and their tournament hopes and with the momentum they are carrying into this game, they have the value.
They have won three games in a row, and most of that has to do with their defense. In the last two games they have give up 66 points in each game.
That defense will be huge as the Cardinal like to play a slower pace and they should be able to lock down in this game.
Take the Ducks to pull the big upset in this game.
