Sunday's comp play comes in the NBA as I take the Cavaliers and the Lakers to land Over the posted total.
Should be an interesting night as the City of Los Angeles has been in the news with their billboard displays that are actively recruiting LeBron James to sign with Los Angeles after the season is over. One thing I know for certain is James should give the Show Time crowd plenty to ooh and ahh over, as I see the offense and the points piling up in this one.
The Cavaliers are due for an eruption, as each of their last 3 games have played Under the posted total. As for the Lakers, 2 of their last 3 games have held Under the total, but overall the Lake Show has played Overs to a tune of 8-2-1 their last 11 games played.
The tipping point when looking towards the Over tonight is the fact that each of the last 4 series meetings at the Staples Center, and 9 straight overall between the teams have landed Over the total.
Offense will be in high-gear tonight.

This total is too high for the new-look Cavs. They are playing much better defense and in the last month before the playoffs start Cleveland's main goal is learning how to gel, especially on the defensive side of the ball. After losing Friday night at Staples to the Clippers the Cavaliers will be ready for this one. Sleeping in the same Los Angeles hotel room as they have since they arrived in LA Thursday night will mean the Cavs will have plenty of rest and fresh legs to lock the young Lakers down on the defensive end. I look for this game to not break 220. TAKE THE UNDER Sunday Night.

The Bearcats rank 2nd nationally in opponents scoring average just behind Virginia. They have allowed just 57.2 points per game this season, but in two games against Houston they gave up 70 in a home win, and 67 in a road loss. These two teams have a history of playing low scoring games, failing to reach the total in seven of the last eight meetings. Tonight's total has been bet down to 127.5, far lower than it was in the previous six head to head meetings. This will be the fifth time this season that Cincinnati has played a ranked team, and they gave up an average of 73 points in the previous four games. Houston comes in averaging 84 points over their last five games, and they have scored 76.2 points per game at neutral sites this season. I think the total for this game is just a little too low all things considered.

I'm recommending laying the points with the Raptors on the road against the Knicks. Toronto is absolutely rolling right now. They have won 7 straight and are 14-1 in their last 15 overall. They just snapped the Rockets winning streak in their last game and I see them having no problem keeping it going against New York.
The Knicks have gone on a complete free-fall since losing Porzingis. They come in having lost 6 straight and are just 1-14 in their last 15. One of those losses during this awful run came at Toronto, which the Raptors cruised to a 113-88 win.
I just don't think playing at home is any advantage for New York right now. The Knicks have failed to cover each of their last 5 games at home and are just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 home games vs a team with a winning road record. Raptors on the other hand are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 vs a team with a losing record and 21-8 ATS in their last 29 games against a division opponent. Take Toronto!
