The 2014 NBA Draft will take place on Thursday June 26 and the talent pool available is being considered one of the deepest in years.

Cleveland won the NBA Draft Lottery and will have the No. 1 overall selection. Milwaukee will select second and Philadelphia will pick third in the draft.

One month ago, Sportsbook.ag felt the top overall pick would be one of three players -- Jabari Paker, Andrew Wiggins and Joel Embiid.

Wiggins and Embiid were both freshman teammates at Kansas. Wiggins averaged 17.1 points per game while Embiid, a 7-foot-center, averaged 11.2 PPG and 8.1 RPG plus he blocked 72 shots in conference play.

Wiggins was made a 5/8 favorite in late May and the oddsmakers still believe he'll be the top choice. Embiid (9/5) was right behind Wiggins but a recent foot injury has watched his stock drop. He is now the third choice, behind Jabari Parker.

Parker, a power forward, was the first freshman to lead the Blue Devils in both scoring and rebounding.

Most basketball pundits believe all three will have a great chance to be a future All-Star in the league.

Sportsbook.ag is offering up a chance for bettors to predict who will be the top pick in the upcoming draft and the offshore outfit is starting to provide other props for the event as well.

Betting the NBA Draft: Five Favorite Prop Picks
By Jason Logan
Covers.com

The 2014 NBA Draft is shaping up to be one of the deepest and most memorable crops of young prospects in years.

Players like Andrew Wiggins, who has been hyped as the No. 1 overall pick since high school, Jabari Parker, who got plenty of national face time at Duke, and Joel Embiid, who fell from projected No. 1 after a foot injury, are at the top of the board. But there’s plenty of talent – and betting value – in this year’s stacked draft class.

We scoured the sportsbooks to find our five favorite props bets for Thursday’s NBA Draft:

Who goes No. 1 overall?

Andrew Wiggins -130
Jabari Parker +100
Joel Embiiid +1,200
Field +2,500

Pick: Andrew Wiggins -130. Seventy-eight percent of jaded Cleveland sports fans can’t be wrong, right? That’s the percentage of people who think the Cavaliers should take Wiggins No. 1 overall Thursday, according to a poll conducted by the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Wiggins’ versatility is just what Cleveland needs to forget – or lure – LeBron James, and take pressure off of potential No. 1 bust Anthony Bennett.

Marcus Smart draft position?

Over 6 (-145)
Under 6 (+115)

Pick: Under 6 (+115). Smart could have been the No. 1 overall pick in last year’s draft had he decided to leave Oklahoma State. He damaged his stock this season with inconsistent play and an incident with opposing fans. Despite that, Smart is quickly rising up the board of many NBA teams, according to multiple media reports. His character is questioned but his talents aren’t.

Doug McDermott draft position?

Over 9.5 (+100)
Under 9.5 (-130)

Pick: Under 9.5 -130. McDermott is projected to fall to the rebooted Charlotte Hornets at No. 9, which is cutting it pretty close when it comes to this prop. One or two curveballs before him and the Creighton superstar could be pushed outside the Top 10. McDermott has, however, been a hot topic of trade rumors with many teams flirting with a trade-up, including Miami and Chicago rumored to deal for Sacramento’s No. 8 spot.

Which player gets drafted first?

Gary Harris (-120)
Nik Stauskas (-120)

Pick: Nik Stauskas -120. Some sportsbooks have the Over/Under on Stauskas’ draft position at 11.5 and Harris is currently projected to fall around No. 13. The Philadelphia 76ers have the No. 3 and No. 10 picks. They will likely deal one of those spots in an effort to secure a Top 2 selection. Philadelphia finished last in 3-point shooting and Stauskas is touted as the sharpest shot in the draft. If the Sixers are still holding on to No. 10, expect Michigan’s guard to go here, well ahead of Harris.

Joel Embiiid draft position?

Over 5.5 (+160)
Under 5.5 (-220)

Pick: Over 5.5 +160. Some markets are dealing this prop without the half-spot hook and the Over 5 set at -105. Embiid was looking like the No. 1 pick before having to undergo foot surgery, drumming up visions of Greg Oden, Sam Bowie and the shaky future of Nerlens Noel.  Embiid was plagued with back issues late in the season at Kansas and is still a very raw talent – healthy or not. Teams inside the Top 5 draft positions don’t have time for a project, especially a high-risk one. Milwaukee has already washed its hands of Embiid at No. 2 and there is even mention of him sliding outside the Top 10.
