NHL Odds and Betting Guide – Flyers look to end slump against Devils
By: The Linemakers
Sportingnews.com

The Philadelphia Flyers hope location truly is everything as they meet the New Jersey Devils for the fourth time this season. The Devils have won all three of the prior meetings, including a 5-2 victory Wednesday. However, each of those wins came in New Jersey; for the first time this season, the teams will meet in Philadelphia, where the Flyers are 8-4-1. Meanwhile, the Devils are just 4-6-3 on the road this year. Las Vegas oddsmakers have Philly the favorite.

Meanwhile, the Edmonton Oilers are also hoping home ice enables them to get over the hump against the Red Wings. In Detroit, the Wings took both of the earlier meetings this season. The good news for the Oilers is that the Red Wings are just 3-6-2 on the road. The bad news is the Oilers haven’t exactly lit it up at home, going just 4-4-2 on the season. Still, LVH has the Oilers as a slight favorite tonight.

The Predators travel to Calgary in the only other NHL game Friday night.

The lines are from LVH as of about 11 a.m. E.T.

*Denotes goalie start is not confirmed. Goalie starts can be subject to change.
