March Madness Winner

March Madness Winner

Who wins it all this year?

My vote is UNC - too much talent and will have revenge on their minds after last years let down to Kansas.

Re: March Madness Winner

Hi MMM welcome to the site.

I honestly cannot even wrap my head around basketball yet. I am even struggling with the fact the NBA season is about to start.

Who are the favorite teams this year? I went to the Sweet 16 game in Detroit last year between Kansas and Davidson. I had seats right on the floor it was awesome.

Re: March Madness Winner

Cash, thank you for the welcome.  I am sure there will be some surprises again this year.  Here is some of top teams pre-season:

UNC
UCLA
L-Ville
Duke
Tex
Uconn
Purdue

I may be leaving a few out, but these are going to be the top teams I believe.  Thats awesome seating for a sweet sixteen game!  I was pulling for the Wildcats in that game and it was the best game of the tourney in my opinion.

Re: March Madness Winner

HI MMW

Hi this is roertalent.I have my eyes on some schools but as you know alot can change during the course of a season(ie injuries, coaching changes etc). I agree UNC looks great but after the injury to Ginyard if they repeat the Lawson or Hansborough injuries of last year that could cause problems.Ill name a few teams I think will be heard from this season
1)Wake in the ACC will be much more improved and experienced this year
2)The Big East is as powerful as ever with Marquette,Syracuse UCONN,Notre Dame, Providence and Villanova all adding a years seasoning to already good teams.A healthy Scotty Reynolds looking forward to a big year.
3) A surprise team in the Pac -10? Try Arizona State
4) In the SEC look no further than LSU ,That injury ravaged team of last year is a thing of the past. South Carolina will shock a number of you as well.
5) Purdue in the Big 10 will have the best year in a long time
6) Finally watch out for UAB to have a elite 8 year. Well balanced scoring led by Vaden and another year for these kids to play together make this team a lock to win CUSA
Hope you all have a great and successful year Roertalent
