Wednesday's NHL Playoff Odds
(TheSpread) – The 2012 NHL Playoffs are down to one second round series, but that could end on Wednesday. Here is a look at the odds for tonight’s game.
The lone game tonight takes place in the Eastern Conference as No. 1 New York plays host to No. 7 Washington at 7:30PM ET (View Matchup), looking to wrap up the series, as they currently lead 3-2. According to oddsmakers, the Capitals are a slight favorite to force a Game 7, as they have odds of -115 to win, while the Rangers have been given a money line of -105 to prevail. The over/under total for goals has been set at 5.
The Capitals are 28-12-6 at home this season while the Rangers are 27-13-6 on the road. The home team has won three of the five games in this series. The teams have alternated wins and losses throughout the series as well, which sets up nicely for Washington. In the series, both teams have failed to combine for more than five goals.
