Wednesday's NBA DFS Picks
The NBA schedule for Wednesday, April 4, 2018 features just six games. Here’s our suggested NBA Daily Fantasy plays for the night’s action.
*Be sure to check your lineup before the start of the 7PM ET games. There have been some guys pulled due to rest lately that we can’t plan for.
Point Guard – 76ers’ Ben Simmons (at Detroit, 7PM ET) $10,200
Simmons was well on his way to another big night on Monday before being pulled due to a blowout. He didn’t play in the fourth quarter and still had 15 points with 12 rebounds and six assists. Tonight he faces a Pistons team in Detroit that should provide a little more competition and he will have relatively fresh legs given his limited minutes. I think he is another strong play today.
Latest NBA odds for Wednesday, April 4, 2018
Shooting Guard – Raptors’ DeMar DeRozan (vs. Boston, 8PM ET) $7,800
With back-to-back losses, Toronto needs a good showing at home against a banged-up Boston team. DeRozan just put up 32 in Boston last weekend, so he has a favorable matchup against tonight. Given the price tag being below $8,000, I think there is a lot of value in Toronto’s shooting guard.
Small Forward – Pelicans’ Dillon Brooks (at New Orleans) $4,600
Brooks has posted over 32 fantasy points in two of his last three games, including 47.5 on Sunday against the Blazers. Tonight he gets to face a bad New Orleans defense and has been averaging around 30 minutes per game over the last week. With nothing to play for, Brooks seems to be getting a chance to shine in Memphis right now. I think he has a lot of upside.
Bet on NBA for Wednesday, April 4, 2018
Power Forward – Celtics’ Jayson Tatum (at Toronto, 8PM ET) $6,100
With Boston dealing with a lot of injuries, Tatum has had to be more of a scorer of late and he has put up at least 20 points in three of his last four games. The rookie is steadily over 30 minutes per game as well and is someone that is good at picking up rebounds, steals and assists. I think he continues his streak of over 30 fantasy points tonight.
Center – Mavericks’ Maxi Kleber (at Orlando, 7PM ET) $3,800
Similar to the Malik Monk suggestion last night that worked out, Kleber is a very low-price option that is getting extended minutes lately for the tanking Mavericks. He faces an Orlando team that has struggled defensively in the front court. Kleber has put up over 25 fantasy points in two of his last three. While he also had 7.25 sandwiched in between, I think he has a lot of value tonight and can save you some cost.
