Logano wins at Bristol
BRISTOL, TN (TheSpread) – Joey Logano added another win to this 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup total on Saturday night as he held off Kevin Harvick to win the Irwin Tools Night Race.
Logano and Kyle Busch established themselves as the top cars in the race, as Logano led 176 laps while Busch led 192. In the end, Logano was the leader and held off Harvick, who never led a lap in the race yet managed to finish second. Denny Hamlin placed third while Busch ended up in eighth place.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Logano had 7/1 odds to win this race entering the week, which means a wager of $100 on him to prevail will pay out an additional $700.
Logano now has three wins on the year and trails only Kyle Busch and Jimmie Johnson for the most on the year, as they each have four. Johnson placed fourth on Saturday night. Harvick remains the points leader by 43 on Logano after Saturday’s race.
