Houston Astros DFS SPIN
Astros manager Dusty Baker told reporters on Sunday that Cristian Javier will “probably” start Game 4 of the World Series against the Phillies. That always seemed like the logical conclusion after Lance McCullers Jr. was named as the starter for Game 3, but now Baker has officially alluded to it. There’s always a possibility if they drop Game 3 though, the Astros could toy with the idea of bringing back Justin Verlander on short rest for Game 4 instead, or simply deploy Jose Urquidy instead and utilize Javier out of the bullpen.
Philadelphia Phillies DFS SPIN
Phillies manager Rob Thomson announced Saturday night that Noah Syndergaard will start in Game 3 of the World Series against the Astros on Monday evening in Philadelphia. The 30-year-old right-hander has pitched in three games for the Phillies this postseason — but has logged a total of just 5 1/3 innings in those three appearances. In his lone start — Game 4 of the NLDS against the Braves — Syndergaard worked just three innings and threw a total of 35 pitches. It seems likely that he’ll be used in a similar capacity against the Astros in a critical Game 3 on Monday.

Phillies vs. Astros MLB WORLD SERIES BETTING PREDICTION
Even though Houston has struggled to win in Philadelphia, I still like the ‘Stros tonight. They’re 8-1 in their last nine playoff games, with their lone loss coming in Game 1 of this series when they blew a sizable lead. The Astros are also 4-0 in their last four away postseason games, are 4-0 in their last four road games when facing a right-handed starter and have won five straight on the road when they’re facing an opponent that owns a winning record. On the other side, the Phillies are just 2-5 in their last seven games when playing the third game of a series.
