You know as well as I do that we were boned last night on 75 Dime Winner # 6 of 8 as Seton Hall hit a three-pointer at the stinking buzzer to cover against Kansas. That is not going to happen again to me today!
They had to go all the way to San Diego for this in-state rivalry battle, but Marshall and West Virginia will renew their acquaintance, as they have not met since the 2015 season, but the schools do have 10 meetings against one another from 2007 to 2015, and the Under has been the play in each of the last 4 series meetings.
I do like the Under again today, as the Mountaineers defense will be the dominate force in this meeting. Bob Huggins knows full well his team is not going to win a shootout with the Thundering Herd, so even though West Va has played Over the total in their last pair and 6 of their last 7 overall, this one will stay Under the high-total.
Believe it or not, Marshall has held Under in their last pair of games, and 3 of 5 overall.
The Mountaineers are only allowing 69-points per game for the season, so look for a very conscious effort from "Press" Virginia to take away open looks tonight, and look for these schools from Wild and Wonderful West Virginia to get close to the total, but not over the total.
