Clemson Tigers Betting Trends

The Tigers are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games overall, are 4-1 against the number in their last five games coming off a win, and are 5-0 at the betting window in their last five games after allowing less than 100 yards rushing in their previous game. Clemson is also just 1-4 against the number in its five conference games, however.

OUR PREDICTION: Clemson has won four straight victories over Virginia Tech so the Hokies will be amped tonight to end that streak. The Hokies have long had great defensive and speical teams play under former head coach Frank Beamer but they've been component offensively as well. Josh Jackson has given this team a shot to the air, completing 65.2 percent of his passes for 1,127 yards with 11 touchdowns and one interception. Jackson faces a stiff test tonight against Clemson's outstanding defense, but I like this game to be much closer than the Clemson-Louisville game a couple of weeks ago. The Hokies will hang defensively.
