Detroit gave Cleveland all it could handle in Game 1. The Pistons were up by 7 points entering the fourth quarter before Cleveland surged over the final stretch to win. The problem for Detroit is they shot the lights out and still lost. The Pistons were 51 percent from 3-point land in the game and shot 61 percent in the first half. Meanwhile, Cleveland was just 12 of 35 from 3-point land in a winning effort. Detroit isn’t likely to shoot that well again and Cleveland can certainly shoot better. Cleveland also showed composure at the end of Game 1 that is lacking from the Pistons. That should be a factor tonight as well.
