Harivck wins it all

HOMESTEAD, FL (TheSpread) – Kevin Harvick double dipped on wins Sunday, winning the Ford EcoBoost 400, which also won him the 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship.

Harvick had a strong car once again, leading 54 laps of the race, which was second only to Jeff Gordon. The end of the race saw a number of caution flags, causing a lot of drama between the four chase contenders. Denny Hamlin and Ryan Newman were also contending late, but Harvick held off Newman over the final laps to win it all.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Harvick had 9/2 odds to win this race coming into the week, which means a wager of $100 on him to win will pay out an additional $450.

Behind Harvick and Newman was Brad Keselowski, who led the non-chase drivers with a third-place finish. Hamlin ended up seventh on Sunday to finish third in the chase while Joey Logano ended up 16th after a late pit malfunction took him out of contention.
