The Players Championship Betting Odds

Jon Rahm and Rory McIlroy are co-favorites at +950, while Scottie Scheffler is +1000 to win and Patrick Cantlay is +1200. Max Homa, meanwhile, is +1400, while Justin Thomas is +1700 and Collin Morikawa is +2000. Xander Schauffele is +2400 to win outright, followed by Viktor Hovland at +2600 and Jason Day is +2700.

OPTION 1: Collin Morikawa (+2000)

I love the fit at TPC Sawgrass when it comes to Morikawa. He’s coming off a rough outing at the Arnold Palmer Invitational last week where he missed the cut, but I expect his accuracy off the tee to return this weekend. His irons are also outstanding and I’m willing to look past the fact that he missed two cuts in his last three starts given how he also has three top-6 finishes in his other three 2023 events. Boom or bust? Sure, but I’m banking on boom this weekend for Morikawa.

OPTION 2: Keegan Bradley (+3100)

Bradley is coming off another solid showing at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and looks to be in control of his game. His putter needed to make strides over the past month and it has. While I don’t love Bradley’s fit at TPC Sawgrass like I do Morikawa, I’m still a fan at +3100.

OPTION 3: Scottie Scheffler (+1000)

Scheffler has won five times over the last 13 months and is coming off another strong finish in which he tied for fourth at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. In fact, had he not lost strokes on the greens, Scheffler could have very easily won the event. With a win in the WM Phoenix Open last month, he’s in good form entering this weekend.
