BROOKLYN, MI (TheSpread) – The 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heads to Michigan International Speedway this week for the running of the Quicken Loans 400 on Sunday.

According to oddsmakers, Jimmie Johnson is the favorite to win this race with 6/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Kyle Busch (8/1) and Carl Edwards (8/1). Four other drivers have 10/1 odds to win the race.

Johnson is fifth in the point standings. He sits 30 out of first. He has two victories on the year with seven top 5’s. Johnson has never won at MIS, but he does have three top 5’s and eight top 10’s.
