2011 NASCAR Odds – Ford 400 – Stewart Favored By Oddsmakers

HOMESTEAD, FL (TheSpread) – The 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Season wraps up this Sunday with the running of the Ford 400 from Homestead-Miami Speedway.

According to oddsmakers, Tony Stewart is the favorite to win the race with 4/1 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Carl Edwards (9/2), Matt Kenseth (6/1), and Kevin Harvick (6/1).

Stewart is second in the point standings. He is 3 points behind Edwards and the only driver outside of Edwards that can win the season championship. Stewart has four wins and eight top 5’s on the year. Stewart has won four races in the Chase for the Championship. Stewart has two wins in 12 races at Miami and his average finish is 12.4. His driver rating at Miami is 87.6, which ranks 11th in the series.

Edwards has one win and 18 top 5’s on the year. Edwards has two wins at Miami in seven races. His average finish at the track is 5.7 while his driver rating there is 117.5, which ranks tops in the series.

Harvick is third in the points standings, 51 points outside of first. He has four wins and nine top 5’s on the year. Harvick is winless at Miami, but has five top 5’s in 10 races. His average finish at the track is 7.9 while his driver rating is 102.8, which ranks fourth in the series.

Kenseth sits sixth in the point standings, 70 out of first. Kenseth has three wins and 11 top 5’s on this year. Kenseth has one win and two top 5’s at Miami in his career, which spans 11 races. His average finish at the track is 18.8 and his driver rating there is 105.7, which ranks third amongst current drivers.

Onto Brazil and then Daytona for me. I can't stand Indy racing.

Won the fantasy league by 1 stinkin point. Keselowski almost fucked me.

Can't wait until next season!
