Tulsa is coming off a 33-27 overtime win against Central Florida in the Conference USA Championship Game. The Golden Hurricanes went 7-1 in conference play and had two of its three losses come by 8 points or less. The Tulsa offense averaged 35 points per game this season while the defense allowed 24.2 points per contest. The team is led by a running back duo of Trey Watts and Ja’Terian Douglas, who have combined for 1,816 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns.

In terms of Injuries, Tulsa tackle Brian DeShane is out for this game with a leg injury. Iowa State offensive lineman Brayden Burris is questionable with a leg injury while running back Shontrelle Johnson is doubtful with a knee injury.
