Arizona State ended the regular season with a 41-34 win over Arizona. The Sun Devils won their last two games of the regular season to finish 5-4 in the Pac-12. ASU averaged 36.4 points per game on offense while allowing 24 points per game on defense. The team was led by quarterback Taylor Kelly, who had 2,772 passing yards and 25 touchdowns.

Navy ended its regular season with a 17-13 win over Army. The Midshipmen won seven of their last eight games to end the regular season. Navy has the sixth-best rushing attack in the country, averaging 275.6 yards per game on the ground. Leading the way is back Gee Gee Greene, who has 765 rushing yards and three scores to go with 303 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

In terms of Injuries, Arizona State defensive tackle Will Sutton is probable for the game despite a toe injury while receiver Kyle Middlebrooks is out with a knee injury. Navy center Bradyn Heap will miss the game because of a leg injury.
