DETROIT, MI (The Spread) – Two potential BCS busters meet in the 2012 MAC Championship on Friday as No. 18 Kent State faces No. 19 Northern Illinois at 7PM ET from Ford Field.

Both teams come into this game at 11-1 overall and 8-0 in the Mid-American Conference. Kent State is 10-2 against the spread on the year while Northern Illinois is 9-2-1 ATS. Northern Illinois is the defending MAC champion and the Huskies have won their last five meetings with Kent State.

Kent State is led by an impressive running back tandem of Dri Archer (1,337 yards and 14 TDs) and Trayion Durham (1,176 yards and 14 TDs).
