Bet Penn State at Michigan State
Penn State is 9-2 this season and 5-6 against the spread. The Nittany Lions have failed to cover the point spread odds in their last two games, but are unbeaten on the road this season straight up and against the spread. Trends show that the Nittany Lions are 7-2 against Michigan State since 2000, but just 2-4 in the last six games at Spartan Stadium.

Michigan State is 6-5 this season and 4-5-1 against the spread. The Spartans have won two straight to become bowl eligible but have covered the point spread odds in one of their last five games.
Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made Penn State 3.5-point road favorites over Michigan State on Saturday night. The over/under total for this game has been established at 47.5.

Michigan State actually ranks third in the Big Ten in scoring offense at 31 points per-game. The Spartans lead the conference in passing yards with 3,015, thanks to Kirk Cousins. Cousins has thrown for 2,305 yards with 17 touchdowns and five interceptions this season. Cousins is facing the top defense in the conference in the Nittany Lions, who are giving up just 11.6 points and 272 yards per-game this year. This game will be up to Cousins and his ability to move the Spartans down the field. If the sophomore can manage the game, he can get MSU a victory.

Penn State is scoring 28.5 points per-game thanks to Daryll Clark who has thrown for 2,477 yards and 19 touchdowns. Evan Royster has also aided in the effort, rushing for 990 yards and six touchdowns. Michigan State is giving up 23.5 points and 350.9 yards per-game this season, but tend to play with a little extra juice at home. Clark has 10 interceptions this year and turnovers will be the key for the Nittany Lions. Penn State has to avoid turning the ball over to Michigan State and giving the Spartans good field position in order to cover and win.
