PHILADELPHIA, PA (The Spread) – Reports out of Philly are stating Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford isn’t close to full health.
The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that Bradford’s left knee doesn’t appear “remotely close” to full health. Granted, this is just reporter Jeff McLane’s take but he dropped an interesting note that, “the specter of (Mark) Sanchez under center (in Week 1) becomes more and more of a reality.”
The Eagles are smart to take it slow with Bradford, who suffered his second ACL tear in as many years last preseason. That said, coach Chip Kelly took plenty of heat for trading Nick Foles and draft compensation to acquire Bradford from St. Louis. Bradford hasn’t played a full season since 2012.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Eagles are 20/1 to win the 2016 Super Bowl and 10/1 to win the NFC Conference championship.
