IRVING, TX (The Spread) – Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel was involved in an incident over the weekend at the Byron Nelson Classic in Irving, Texas.
According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Manziel threw a water bottle at an 18-year-old who was harassing him by the Four Seasons’ pool. No charges were field and police said Manziel didn’t show signs of being intoxicated, which is noteworthy given the quarterback’s penchant for showing up in the tabloids for partying.
Less than a month ago it was reported that Manziel had moved out of his downtown apartment in efforts to avoid the nightlife that derailed his rookie season and eventually landed him in rehab. The quarterback has received nothing but positive reviews from teammates, including Joe Thomas and Donte Whitner.
Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv have installed the Browns as 75/1 long shots to win the 2016 Super Bowl and 33/1 to win the AFC Conference Championship in 2015.
