BOSTON, MA (The Spread) – One night after suffering a huge injury to their pitching staff, the Angels look to stay hot versus the Red Sox tonight at Fenway.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Angels are -121 money line favorites over the Red Sox, who are +112 money line home underdogs. The total for this 7:10PM ET start time is currently sitting at 9 runs.
Matt Shoemaker will start for the Angels tonight and sports an 11-4 record with a 3.84 ERA while the Red Sox will counter with Rubby De La Rosa, who is 4-4 with a 3.79 ERA. De La Rosa is coming off a bad outing against the Astros, who knocked him around for six runs on nine hits and four walks in just four innings versus the Astros.
The Angels are 9-2 in their last 11 road games versus Boston and 4-1 in their last five games overall against the Red Sox. They’re also 5-1 in their last six road games, 5-1 in their last six games during Game 4 of a series and 40-13 in their last 53 games versus a team with a losing record.
