Braden Holtby allowed five goals on 36 shots during Tuesday’s 5-0 loss to the Winnipeg Jets. It was a rough night for the Canucks and their goaltender. The Jets had something to play for (they were looking to lock down the third seed) while Vancouver had nothing to play for tonight. Holtby has dropped four games in a row. He has a 7-10-2 record with a 3.43 goals-against-average and a .897 save percentage this season. The Canucks still have five games left to play before they can pack it up for the summer.
Calgary Flames DFS Spin
Matthew Tkachuk posted a goal with two assists in Sunday’s 6-1 home game against the Ottawa Senators. Tkachuk got the best of his brother’s team, the Senators. Brady Tkachuk went scoreless with six shots and a minor penalty, while Matthew finished with a plus-2 rating, four shots on goal and a minor penalty with two hits in 17:35 of ice time across 19 shifts. It was his first three-point game since March 4 when he rattled off three assists, also against the Senators. He and the Flames are back in action Thursday night against the Vancouver Canucks in a make-up game.
