According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Penguins are -270 money line favorites to beat the Sabres, who own odds of +220 to pull off the massive upset tonight. Pittsburgh is also -1.5 (+110) on the puckline and the total currently sits at 5 goals.

Marc-Andre Fleury is coming off back-to-back starts over the weekend in which he allowed four goals in two victories. He stopped 25 of 27 shots in Sunday’s 3-2 overtime win over the Rangers and is now 34-17-6 on the season and owns a 2.29 goals-against-average to go along with his .921 save percentage.
As of this writing Chad Johnson is listed as the starter for Buffalo but the Sabres played in Detroit on Monday night so this isn’t set in stone. Johnson made 26 saves in a 3-2 loss to the Red Wings and has been serviceable of late. He’s 19-16-3 and owns a respectable 2.38 GAA and a .919 save percentage.

Regardless of who’s in goal for the Sabres, this one should get ugly. Buffalo is 19-43-4 in its last 66 games versus the Pens and is winless at 0-4 in its last four trips to Pittsburgh. The Penguins are also 8-1 in their last nine games, are 12-2 in their last 14 games versus an opponent with a losing record, and have won 13 of their last 17 home games.
